Buried Blueprints Lecture Series

Buried Blueprints Brochure

Using the Bible as his only guide, archeologist John D. Aitken will take us on an unforgettable odyssey leading through the maze of theories about earth origins; the antediluvian (prehistoric) world; the formation of cultures and myth; the secrets revealed in ancient cave paintings; and what the fossil record truly reveals. This series will reveal how Biblical anthropology truly agrees with honest modern science. This is an “archeological walk” through the Bible from Genesis to the book of Revelation using a multimedia format. Artifacts will be shown each night with a chance for interaction with archeologist Aitken. Children are welcome and will enjoy the dinosaurs.

Most other lectures take a sequential approach. That is, one topic is introduced, discussed, and summarized before the next topic is addressed. That isn’t the way Buried Blueprint lectures are presented.

Buried Blueprints takes a parallel approach. Just as television soap operas have several interwoven story lines going at one time, Buried Blueprints develops several topical threads at the same time. Professor Aitken jumps back and forth between topics, keeping them all fresh and alive at once. Some topics are concluded during a single lecture, but others continue for several weeks.

Professor Aitken doesn’t use Power Point slides, either. Instead, he talks about artifacts that the audience members can examine for themselves, and shows clips from popular movies, using them to illustrate Bible truths. He ties them together by telling stories that appeal to all ages, from the pre-school children sitting in the front row, to their grandparents sitting farther back.

Periodically BAAM presents free Buried Blueprint lectures open to the general public. The next series begins January 14, 2005, and ends on February 6, 2005. The multimedia presentations, consisting of lectures, video clips, and artifacts, begin at 7 PM on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights.
